2.28 Miscellaneous Features2.28.1 Background Music (BGM)DescriptionA PT user can listen to BGM through the built-in speaker while on-hook and idle. The following audio sourcesare available for BGM:• External Music Source• Internal Music SourceBGM—External:BGM can also be broadcast in the office through the external pagers, this can be turned on and off by anextension assigned as the manager.Conditions[BGM]• Hardware requirement: User-supplied music source (when an external music source is assigned)• The music through the PT is interrupted when going off-hook.• Each user can set/cancel BGM, and also select the music source.• Through system programming, it is possible to specify the maximum number of IP-PTs that cansimultaneously perform the BGM feature.
