This feature can be used,for example, to dial a calling card accessnumber or bank account PIN that you havestored in the phonebook, without having todial manually.1 During an outside call, press {MENU}.2 “Phonebook” i {SELECT}3 Find the desired item (page 22). i{CALL}Note:L When storing a calling card accessnumber and your PIN in the phonebookas one phonebook item, press {PAUSE}to add pauses after the number and PINas necessary (page 18).L If you have rotary or pulse service, youneed to press {*} before pressing{MENU} in step 1 to change the dialingmode temporarily to tone.Copying phonebook itemsYou can copy one or all of the phonebookitems from this unit to the phonebook ofthe base unit or a compatible Panasonicunit (KX-THA11/KX-THA12/KX-THA16/KX-THA17).Important:L The picture ID setting for phonebookitems is not copied.L In order to correctly copy a ringer ID as aphonebook item, the same melodiesmust be stored in identical order in thememories of both units involved. If themelody order in memory is different inthe copy destination unit from thesending unit, the ringer ID will not becopied properly.
