Connecting to other equipment100VQT0V63∫ PictBridge (PTP) settingEven if you set [USB MODE] to[PictBridge (PTP)], you can connect to yourPC if the OS is Windows XP Home Edition/Professional or Mac OS X.• Pictures can only be read on the camera.They cannot be written to a card ordeleted.• When there are 1000 or more pictures ona card, the pictures may not be imported.• Do not use any other USB connectioncables except the supplied one.• Do not disconnect the USB connectioncable while [ACCESS] is displayed.• If battery power is exhausted while thecamera and the PC are communicating,the recorded data may be damaged.When you connect the camera to the PC,use a battery with sufficient battery power(P12) or the AC adaptor (DMW-AC7;optional).• If the remaining battery power becomeslow while the camera and the PC arecommunicating, the status indicator blinksand the alarm beeps. In this case, stopthe communication at once on the PC.• When connecting the camera to aWindows 2000 OS PC with the USBconnection cable, do not replace thecard while the camera and the PC areconnected. The information on the cardmay be damaged.
