Before Use-11-ª To Use as a Hand StrapUsing the Grip Belt as the hand strap makes iteasier to handle and carry the Movie Camera. It ismore convenient to use with the Free StyleRemote Controller with Mic.1 Open the Lock Cover (20) by holding thetabs on both sides 1, press the LockButton (19) and detach the Grip Belt.2 Slide the pad of the Grip Belt.3 Attach the Grip Belt around your wrist.≥When putting the Grip Belt back to the Grip BeltAttachment part, press on the Lock Cover 2 tobe securely locked.Attaching the Lens CapTo protect the Lens surface, attach the Lens Cap.1 Pass one end of the Lens Cap Cord throughthe attached eye on the Lens Cap. Thenpass the other end through the loop madeby itself and pull tight.1 (19)(20)22 Pass the end of the Lens Cap Cord throughthe hole in the Grip Belt Attachment partand the Lens Cap through the Lens CapCord.≥The removed Lens Cap can be hooked onto theGrip Belt. (It is not possible when using as ahand strap.)≥When you are not recording, be sure to keepthe Lens Cap attached to the Lens forprotection.Attaching the Shoulder StrapWe recommend that you attach the ShoulderStrap before going out of doors to record so as toavoid dropping the Movie Camera.1 Pull the end of the Shoulder Strap throughthe Shoulder Strap Holder on the MovieCamera.2 Fold the tip of the Shoulder Strap, run itthrough the Shoulder Strap LengthAdjuster, and pull it.≥Pull it out more than 2 cm 1 from theShoulder Strap Length Adjuster so that itcannot slip off.≥Attach the other end of the Shoulder Strap tothe other Shoulder Strap Holder as the sameway.1
