PRI indicates that Priority Scanmode is on, and pri indicates that Priority Scanmode is off.CONV Priority ScanWhen Object Priority is set to Yes for one ormore CONV objects, the scanner will samplethe CONV objects for activity periodically whilescanning and monitoring other objects. Thissampling will cause a brief muting of receivedaudio when it occurs while another object isactive. The more CONV objects that are set forPriority, the longer this audio muting will be, sinceit takes a certain amount of time to sample eachPriority CONV object for activity.TGRP Priority ScanWhen Object Priority is set to Yes for one ormore TGRP objects, the scanner will give thoseTGRPs priority over other TGRPs while checkinga particular trunking system for activity. TGRPsconfigured for Priority are checked for activitybefore any other TGRPs are checked, and duringthe reply delay time after non-priority TGRP calls.Additionally, your PRO-106 decodes thesubaudible priority data that is present on analogMotorola talkgroup calls (3600 baud controlchannel systems only), and will switch to a prioritytalkgroup when the data for that talkgroup isfound in the subaudible priority data.Hit CountersThe Hit Counter feature that keeps track ofhow many transmissions are received for eachobject type. The Hit Counter for an object isincremented each time a transmission is receivedon an object, making it possible for you todetermine the objects that are the least andmost active. By default, the Hit Counter feature isturned off.
