Connect the molded power plug to one of the SeaTalk connectionson the rear of the RayData. Run the free end back to the vessel’s12V DC distribution panel or battery.2. Cut the cable to length and connect the red wire to 12V and thescreen to 0V. Protect the circuit with a 5A fuse/circuit breaker.Larger SystemIf you are using the RayData as part of a larger system, you will need touse the SeaTalk and/or NMEA connectors. You can still use the directly-connected depth and speed transducers in this case.The RayData can be connected to an existing SeaTalk system, using astandard SeaTalk extension or interface cable connected to the SeaTalkconnectors on the rear of the RayData. The power supply and data arepassed from instrument to instrument via the daisy loom cable, asshown in the following diagram.
