Chapter 7: Adjusting Autopilot Settings 817 Adjusting Autopilot SettingsPop-up pilot time-outDuring normal autopilot operation, you can set the control unit so ithas a data page as the main display (see page 31). Whenever youselect a new autopilot mode or make a course change, the autopilotmode screen will ‘pop-up’. After a short period, the display willrevert to the selected data page. The default pop-up time is 5 seconds.You can use this Display Calibration screen to adjust the pop-up pilotdisplay time-out.Data pages 1-15The next 15 screens allow you to modify the settings for the datapages. These define the SeaTalk/NMEA data pages that will beavailable during normal operation (see page 31). Each data pagesetup screen initially shows the title DATA PAGE and the page number.After 1 second, the text changes to the title of the data currently set forthat page.The default settings are:To change the data displayed on a data page:• Press disp to move to the appropriate data page setup screen.• Use the -1 and +1 keys to scroll forwards or backwards throughthe available data pages (see following table).• Then press disp to move to the next data page you want tochange, or press and hold standby for 2 seconds to save changes.Screen text OptionsPOPUP TIMEOUT 1 seconds to 10 seconds;Default = 5 secondsData page Default setting1 XTE (Cross Track Error)2 BTW* (Bearing to Waypoint)3 DTW* (Distance to Waypoint)4 RESPONSE5 -15 NOT USED (These pages are not displayed when you scrollthrough the data pages during normal operation)*Note: It is good practice to keep the BTW and DTW pages for display.
