With a dry, lint-free cloth, wipe away any dust and spilled toner from thetoner cartridge area.While cleaning the inside of the machine, be careful not to damagethe transfer roller or any other inside parts. Do not use solventssuch as benzene or thinner to clean. Printing quality problems canoccur and cause damage to the machine.6. Locate the long strip of glass (LSU) inside the machine and using acotton swab, gently clean the 4 pieces of LSU glass.7. Slide the toner cartridge back into the machine.8. Holding the handle on the paper transfer belt, align it with the slots onthe inside of the front door.9. Lower the paper transfer belt until it is parallel with the front door andfirmly seated.10. Close the front door. Ensure that the cover is securely closed.If the front door is not completely closed, the machine will notoperate.11. Plug in the power cord and turn the machine on.Cleaning the scan unitKeeping the scan unit clean helps ensure the best possible copies. Wesuggest that you clean the scan unit at the start of each day and during theday, as needed.1. Slightly dampen a soft, lint-free cloth or paper towel with water.2. Open the scanner lid.3.
