A check mark displayed nextto the feature indicates SD card notificationsis active.Display SettingsIn this menu, you can change various settings for the displaysuch as the font, orientation, pop-up notifications, puzzle lockfeature, animation, brightness, screen timeout, power savingmode, and tv out settings. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Soundand display.The following options display:• Font style: sets the fonts used on the LCD display. The default font,is the only font that comes with your phone. Touch Get fonts onlineto download additional fonts.• Orientation: When you set the Orientation setting to On, the phoneautomatically switches from portrait to landscape orientation andvice versa. When this setting is set to Off, then the phone displays inportrait mode only.• Animation: determines whether some or all of the windowelements animate. Selections are: No animation, Some animations,and All animations.• Brightness: configures the LCD Brightness levels. Touch Automaticbrightness to allow the phone to self-adjust and touch OK.• Screen timeout: adjusts the delay time before the screenautomatically turns off. Selections are: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, and 30 minutes.• Power saving mode: This mode allows you to save power becausethe phone analyzes the displayed screen image and adjusts theLCD brightness.• TV out: This feature allows you to connect your phone to yourtelevision. For more information, refer to “TV out” on page 108.TV outThis feature allows you to connect your phone to your televisionvia an optional phone to RGB cable and view any locally storedimage or video directly on your television. The two availableoptions include: TV out or TV system (NTSC).Note: The TV system (NTSC) option is used if you are connecting to an older,analog NTSC system.To use the TV out feature:1.
