113Allow mock locationsThis feature is used for development purposes only.If you are a developer who is testing a GPS applications usingthis device, you can tell the device that the phone is at differentGPS locations. In other words, the phone is allowed to “mock”the coordinates.USB Settings1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔Applications ➔ USB settings.2. Select one of the following USB settings:• Samsung Kies: a software suite that allows you to search anddownload applications directly from a PC. The applications are theninstalled onto a mobile device when synced with a PC, providinginstant back up and peace of mind for application downloads. Formore information, refer to “Connecting with Samsung Kies”on page 135.• Media player: connects your device to a PC in order to synchronizefiles with Windows Media Player. For more information, refer to“Synchronizing with Windows Media Player” onpage 135.• Mass storage: allows you to use the onboard storage capacity ofthe phone to store and upload files. This option allows yourcomputer to detect the phone as a removable storage drive. Formore information, refer to “Connecting as a Mass StorageDevice” on page 135.• Ask on connection: allows you to make a USB setting selection assoon as the USB cable from your phone is connected with a PC.Note: To use any downloaded market application that requires a USBconnection between your phone and your PC, you should first set theUSB setting to Mass storage.Accounts and Synchronization1.
