92– Automatic answering automatically answers after a period of time.Selections are: Off, After 1 second, After 2 seconds, After 3 seconds,After 4 seconds, or After 5seconds. This option is used when using aBluetooth headset or earphone.• Prefix dialing: when activated, this feature automaticallyprepends a string of numbers (such as an area code) to anydialed number. This feature is useful for international dialing, ordialing within an area code where all the calls you make for aperiod of time use one prefix. For more information, refer to“Fixed Dialing Numbers” on page 34.• Reject call with message: allows you to send a messageimmediately after rejecting a call.• Call status tones: sets a tone to play for the following statustones: Call connect tone, Minute minder or Call end tone. Tapeach type of status tone you want to play.• Outgoing call vibration: allows the caller’s phone to vibrate whenthe called party answers the call.• Alerts on call: activates an alert tone for new messages beingreceived during an active call.Voice callTo configure voice calls:1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Call settings Voice call.2. Tap one of the following options:• Call forwarding: incoming calls are re-routed to a secondarynumber that you specify.• Call barring: restricts specific types of incoming and outgoingcalls on your phone.• Call waiting: this network service informs you when someone istrying to reach you during another call. Specify individual callwaiting options for voice calls.• Auto redial: automatically redials the last number if the call waseither cut off or was unable to connect.Fixed Dialing NumbersFixed Dial Number (FDN), allows you to restrict outgoing calls to alimited set of phone numbers.Enabling FDN1. From the Home screen, tap Settings Call settings Fixed Dialing Numbers.2. Tap Enable FDN.3. At the prompt, enter your PIN2 code and tap OK.FDN is enabled.4. To enable FDN after it has been disabled, tap Disable FDN,enter your PIN2 code and tap OK.
