Organiser108Alarm (Menu 5.5)This option allows you to set an alarm to ring at aspecific time. You can set up to three alarms or setthe phone to ring an alarm when it is switched off.To set an alarm:1. Select either Morning call, Alarm1 or Alarm2by pressing the Up or Down key.The icon means that no alarm is currentlyset. The icon means that an alarm hasalready been set.2. Press the Select soft key.3. Press the Options soft key.4. Scroll to an option by pressing the Up or Downkey and press the Select soft key. Change thesetting, as needed.• Alarm day: place or remove a check mark onthe day(s) of the week by pressing the Selectsoft key. If you want to set a daily alarm,select Everyday. If you want to set atemporary alarm, select Once alarm. Whenyou press the Ok soft key after selecting, yourphone asks you to enter the alarm time.• Alarm time: enter the time for the alarm tosound.• Alarm tone: select an alarm melody.• Remove alarm: deactivates the alarm.5. Repeat step 4 to change each setting.6. When you have finished, press the soft key orthe key to exit.Organiser109Once an alarm has been set, you can see the Alarmicon ( ) on the top line of the display. To stop thealarm when it rings, open and close the phone orpress any key.Notes:• When the Quiet mode is activated, the alarm tonedoesn’t sound. But when you set a morning call, itsounds the alarm tone even if the Quiet mode isactivated.• The alert type for Alarm 1 and 2 is affected by theone for incoming calls. Morning call’s alert type isalways Melody.To set the alarm to ring even if your phone isswitched off:1. Scroll to Auto power on the Alarm list andpress the Select soft key.2. If necessary, press the Up or Down key to selectOn.To turn the Auto Power feature off, select Off.3. Press the Select soft key to save the setting.4. When you have finished, press the soft key orthe key to exit.Once you have activated the auto power alarm, acheck mark appears ahead of Auto power. If thephone is switched off at the specified alarm time, itautomatically switches on and rings the alarm. Itthen automatically switches off again.
