Network Services120Network selection (Menu 6.4)The Network Selection feature enables you toautomatically or manually select the network usedwhen roaming outside your home area.Note: You can select a network other than your homenetwork only if it has a valid roamingagreement with your home network.To indicate to automatically or manually select thenetwork when roaming:1. Press the Up or Down key until the appropriateoption highlights and press the Select soft key.If you select Automatic, you are connected tothe first available network when roaming.If you select Manual, the phone scans for theavailable networks. Go to step 2.2. Press the Up or Down key until the preferrednetwork highlights and press the Select softkey.You are connected to that network whenroaming.Network Services121Caller ID (Menu 6.5)You can prevent your phone number from beingdisplayed on the phone of the person being called.Note: Some networks do not allow the user to changethis setting.The following options are available:Default: the default setting provided by thenetwork is used.Hide number: your number does not display onthe other person’s phone.Send number: your number is sent each time youmake a call.Active Line (Menu 6.6)Some SIM cards may be used with two subscribernumbers. This function is available only if your SIMcard supports it.This menu allows you to select the line to be usedto make calls. However, calls can be answered onboth lines, regardless of the selected line. Whenyou select Line 1 or Line 2, the line numberappears as an indicator after the operator/serviceprovider’s name.
