22Call functionsMaking a callWhen the idle screen displays, enter the area codeand phone number, then press the key.Note: When you activate the Auto redial option inthe Extra settings menu (Menu 9.6), thephone will automatically redial up to 10 timeswhen the person does not answer the call or isalready on the phone. See page 145 for furtherdetails.Making an international call1. Press and hold the 0 key.The + character appears.2. Enter the country code, area code, and phonenumber and press the key.Correcting the numberTo clear Press thethe last digitdisplayedC key.any other digit inthe numberLeft or Right key until thecursor is immediately to theright of the digit to be cleared.Press the C key.the whole display C key and hold it for morethan one second.Call functions23Ending a callWhen you want to end your call, briefly press thekey or close the phone.Redialling the last numberThe phone stores the numbers of the calls you’vedialled, received, or missed, if the call recipient orcaller is identified. See “Call records” on page 55 forfurther details.To recall any of these numbers:1. If you have typed characters on the display,press the key to return to Idle mode.2. Press the key to display a list of the mostrecent numbers used, in the order you dialled orreceived them.3. Use the Up and Down keys to scroll through thenumbers until the number you want highlights.4. T o Press thedial the number key.edit the number Options soft key or thekey and select Edit.Change the number,referring to “Correctingthe number” on page 22.delete the number Options soft key or thekey and select Delete.delete all of thenumbers on theCall log listOptions soft key or thekey and select Deleteall.
