Phonebook1281. In Idle mode, press and hold the 0 key. A +appears.2. Enter the location number of the phone numberyou want and press the key.The list of the entries in the phone’s memoryappears.3. You can press the Up or Down key to find othernumbers on the list.4. Press the Dial soft key, the key, or thekey when you have selected the number youwant.Add entry (Menu 8.2)There are two ways to store a number:• Using the Add entry option in the Phonebookmenu• Using the Save soft key or the key in IdlemodeStoring a number using the Phonebookmenu1. When the idle screen displays, press thePhonebook soft key.2. Scroll to Add entry by pressing the Up or Downkey and press the Select soft key or the key.3. Select an icon to identify the category of thenumber to be stored by pressing the Left orRight key, and press the Select soft key or thekey.Phonebook129Note: The E-mail icon ( ) is available in thisstep. It allows you to save an e-mailaddress instead of a phone number.4. Select a memory location, either SIM or Phone,by pressing the Up or Down key and press theSelect soft key or the key.Note: When you are saving an e-mail address,SIM is not available.5. Enter the number or address you want to storeand press the Save soft key or the key.7. Continue the procedure from step 6 on page 130to store the number.Storing a number in Idle modeAs soon as you start to enter a number, Saveappears above the left soft key to allow you to storethe number in Phonebook.1. Enter the number you want to store.Note: If you make a mistake while entering anumber, correct it using the C key. Forfurther details, see page 22.2.
