Messages90If you are viewing a new message, the options arethe same as when you view a message at the timeof you receive it. See page 88.When you are reviewing a message retrieved fromthe MMS server, the following options are available:Delete: deletes the message.Reply: allows you to send a reply to the sender bysending a text or multimedia message.Callback: allows you to call the sender.Save address: allows you to extract the sender’snumber or e-mail address and URL, e-mailaddresses or phone numbers from the messagetext.Forward: allows you to forward the message toanother person. When the message contains mediacontents you have bought on the Internet,forwarding is not available.Save picture: allows you to save an image fromthe message into your phone. Pictures are stored inthe Images folder (Menu 6.4).Save sound: allows you to save a sound from themessage into the Sounds folder (Menu 6.3).Properties: shows you information about themessage, such as the message status, subject,sender’s e-mail address or phone number, messagesize, priority, and the time and date the messagewas received.Outbox (Menu 5.2.3)When you access this menu, the list of themultimedia messages you have sent or savedMessages91displays. The icons on the left tell you the status ofthe messages.• : Messages currently being sent• : Messages sent• : Messages your phone couldn’t send• : Messages to be sent• : Messages deferred1. Select a message on the list and press the Viewsoft key or the key.The message displays and scrolls to the nextpage, if it has one, after a specified time.2. Press the OK soft key or the key to go to themessage view screen.Or, the display automatically switches to thescreen after a specified time.3. Press the Up or Down key to scroll through themessage.If the message has more than one page, youcan scroll through the pages by using the Leftand Right keys.4. Press the or key to scroll to the previousor the next message.While viewing a message, you can access thefollowing options by pressing the Options soft keyor the key:Delete: deletes the message.Save address: allows you to extract thedestination numbers or e-mail addresses and URL,e-mail addresses, or phone numbers from themessage text.
