Sound settings72This menu allows you to specify how often thephone informs you of a new message. The followingoptions are available:Once: the phone alerts you to a new message justonce at the time of receipt.Periodic: the phone alerts you to a new messageevery 2 minutes until you open the message.Folder tone (Menu 4.6)This menu allows you to select the tone that thephone sounds when you open or close the phone.To turn off the sound, select Off.Power on/off (Menu 4.7)This menu allows you to select the melody that thephone sounds when it is switched on or off.To turn off the sound, select Off.Alert on call (Menu 4.8)This menu allows you to select whether or not thephone informs you when you receive a newmessage or when the time for an alarm comesduring a call.The following options are available:Off: the phone doesn’t alert you to incomingmessages or alarms. It only displays thecorresponding notification.Sound settings73On: the phone alerts you with a beep and displaysthe corresponding notification.Extra tones (Menu 4.9)You can customise additional tones for the phone.The following options are available:Error tone: sets whether or not the phone informsyou when you make a mistake.Minute minder: sets whether or not the phonebeeps every minute during an outgoing call to keepyou informed of the length of your call.Connect tone: sets whether or not the phonebeeps when your call is connected to the system.To turn a giventone Press theon Mark soft key or the key.A check mark displays in frontof the option.off Unmark soft key or the key.The check mark no longerdisplays.
