Basic OperationOpen the slide shutter.Rotate the Zoom Ring to zoom in and out.Rotate the Focus Ring to adjust the projected picture focus.Close the slide shutter.If a projected picture still has keystone distortion afterpressing the AUTO SETUP button on the top control or theAUTO SET button on the remote control, correct the imagemanually as follows:Press the KEYSTONE button on the remote control. TheKeystone dialog box appears. Use the Point ▲▼ buttons tocorrect keystone distortion. The keystone adjustment can bestored (see page 46).Reduce the upper widthwith the Point ▲ button.Reduce the lower widthwith the Point ▼ button.• The white arrows indicate that there is nocorrection.• A red arrow indicates the direction of correction.• An arrow disappears at the maximum correction.• If you press the KEYSTONE button on theremote control once more while the keystonedialog box is being displayed, the keystoneadjustment will be canceled.• The adjustable range is limited depending on theinput signal.Remote ControlAuto setup function is provided to automatically execute thesetting of Auto setup (includes Input search, Auto PC adj.and Auto Keystone functions) in the setting menu by justpressing the AUTO SETUP button on the top control or theAUTO SET button on the remote control. Refer to page 45for the setting of the Auto setup function.Note:• Auto Keystone corrects vertical distortion only; it doesnot correct horizontal distortion.• Auto Keystone cannot work when Ceiling feature is setto On in the Setting menu (p.50).• Perfect correction of the image distortion cannot beensured with the Auto setup function. If the distortioncannot be corrected properly by pressing the AUTOSETUP or AUTO SET button, adjust manually bypressing the KEYSTONE button on the remote controlor selecting Keystone in the Setting menu (p.46).• Fine sync, Total dots, Horizontal and Verticalposition of some computers cannot be fully adjustedwith the Auto PC Adjustment function.
