5SettingYou can replace the filter with this function. Press theSELECT button at Filter control to display a confirmationbox. To replace, press the SELECT button at “YES” andthe electrically operated filter starts to scroll.Filter control Note:• Filter replacement icon and “Please wait . . . ” messageappear on the screen when the filter is being scrolled.• The filter cannot be rewound.• When the filter is replaced, the total accumulated time ofthe filter use is automatically set to 0.Remote controlThis projector provides two different remote control codes:the factory-set initial code (Code 1) and the secondary code(Code ). This switching function prevents remote controlinterference when operating several projectors or videoequipment at the same time.When operating the projector in Code , both the projectorand the remote control must be switched to Code .To change the code for the projector:Select either Code 1 or Code in this Setting Menu.To change the code for the remote control:Press and hold both the MENU and IMAGE buttonstogether for 5 seconds or more. After changing the code,make sure the remote control operates properly. Note:• When different codes are set on the projector and on theremote control, any operation cannot be made. In thatcase, switch the code on the remote control to fit the codeon the projector.• If the batteries are removed from the remote control for along period of time, the remote control code will be reset.Remote controlFilter control
