Forms Submenu83Right MarginYou can place the right margin at any column number across the page.Similar to the Left Margin parameter, the range of this value depends on theCPI. Column 136 is the Default selection. The right margin must be greaterthan or equal to the left margin.NOTE: If a margin setting is a column number that is greater than themaximum allowable for the current CPI, the printer will default to thelast valid setting. The current value of the right and left margins reflects a physical location onthe form, and therefore, changes when the CPI setting changes. If thephysical location of the right or left margin does not exactly correspond with aline position after changing the CPI (characters per inch) setting, there will beno current setting indicator (asterisk).Horz AdjustThe print position on the form may be adjusted horizontally in increments of1/30 an inch. The default option is 0.Vert AdjustThe print position on the form may be adjusted vertically in increments of1/72 an inch. The default option is 0.Quick AccessThis option provides a way for a pedestal printer to position printed forms forquick tear-off access. When Quick Access is enabled, the paper is moved tothe tear position by holding down the VIEW key for one second for Eject. TheEject mode may be exited by pressing the VIEW key. (This typically results ina blank form separating the next-to-print form from the previously printedform.) Placing the printer back online while in the Eject mode willautomatically move to the next available form, and printing will resume assoon as data is received. The default option for the Quick Access parameteris Disabled. The distance that the paper is ejected is set with the EjectDistance parameter (below).Eject DistanceThe Eject Distance parameter allows you to select the distance at which thepaper ejects during a Quick Access operation. The units are in tenths of aninch, from 4.5 to 15.5. The default is 13.98 inches.Fast SlewSlew refers to the high speed paper motion that occurs whenever the printermoves paper more than one line. If your forms are thin or fragile in whichoutput stacking is a problem, you can decrease the printer's slew speed bysetting this parameter to Disabled. The default setting is Enabled. The 2000 lpm printer also has a stack selection which aids in paper stackingand is faster than the parameter setting for Disable.
