The type of solo (PFL,AFL, in-place) is determined by the settings made onthe OPTION SOLO screen (“SOLO TYPE” on page 44).Channels can be protected from muting during in-place soloing of other channels using the defeat func-tion described in “INPLACE SOLO DEFEAT” onpage 44.When a channel is soloed, its SOLO key lights, andthe SOLO indicator in the MONITOR section flashesor is lit when one or more channels are soloed, toindicate that solo mode is active.PFL soloing flashes the indicator slowly, AFL flashesit fast, and the inplace solo mode lights it steadily.Pressing the channel’s SOLO key once more cancelsthe solo.TIPPressing and holding SHIFT and pressing any lit SOLO keycancels all solos on the current fader layer.Pressing and holding CTRL and pressing any lit SOLO keycancels all solos on all fader layers.
