In the Audiomenu, select Input, and click on theinput pair (or pairs, in Cubase VST)you’ll be using on the US-428. Thegreen Input icons will light in VST’s Inputwindow for active inputs.Select the Audio track(s) to record to byhighlighting that track in the Arrangewindow.NOTE: All four will only appear if you’veenabled their Inputs, as describedabove. First,make sure that the signal you’resending to the US-428 is within areasonable range – it should illuminatethe green SIGNAL LED, but the red OLLED should only flicker occasionally.You can then fine adjust the level withthe TRIM knobs for the selectedchannel(s).NOTE: The SIGNAL and OL LED’s donot function with digital input.In the case of digital input, input level isregulated by the output level of thesource, and passed directly to thesoftware application withoutmodification.On Cubasis’ Transport Bar, you canenable the recording to drop in or out ofRecord based on the locate pointsyou’ve set.
