Check the machine and its components for damage. If there is visible damage,do not operate the machine! Contact your Wacker Neuson dealer immediatelyfor assistance.3. Take inventory of all items included with the machine and verify that all loosecomponents and fasteners are accounted for.4. Attach component parts not already attached.5. Add fluids as needed and applicable, including fuel, engine oil, and battery acid.6. Move the machine to its operating location.Safetyinformation■ Do not exceed the power output of the generator. Damage to tools or generatorwill occur. Refer to Technical Data.■ When using the generator as a standby or substitute power supply, make surethe voltage and phase rotation of the line connections match those of the utilitylines. Failure to match phase rotation and voltage may cause equipmentconnected to the generator to operate incorrectly! This could create unsafeoperating conditions.■ Do not exceed the rated current limit of any receptacle.■ The bonding bar between the ground connections must remain in place at alltimes unless a qualified electrician determines otherwise.CO Alarms Because this machine produces carbon monoxide (CO), Wacker Neusonrecommends that CO alarms be installed in all structures in close proximity to themachine. CO alarms provide an extra measure of protection against this poisonthat you cannot see or smell.Install battery-operated CO alarms or plug-in CO alarms with battery backup,according to the manufacturer’s instructions. CO alarms should be certified to therequirements of the latest safety standards (UL 2034, IAS 6-96, or CSA 6.19.01).Test the CO alarm batteries monthly.
