Enter Service Diagnostics and select Clutch Tests.2. Scroll to Tray 2 Feed or Tray 3 Feed and press OK.Can you hear the clutch energize?Go to step 5. Go to step 2.2 1. Switch the printer power OFF.2. Remove the Left Interface Cover (RRP 1.1 onpage 6-6), Left Cover (RRP 1.2 on page 6-7), and theLeft Plate (RRP 1.11 on page 6-16).3. Enter Service Diagnostics and select Clutch Tests.4. Scroll to Tray 2 Feed or Tray 3 Feed and press OK.5. Check the voltage between each of the following pinson the Engine Logic Board and frame ground: For Tray 2, check P/J33 pin 13 For Tray 3, check P/J33 pin 14Is the voltage +24.0 VDC?Go to step 4. Go to step 3.3 1. Remove the Sheet Feeder Drive Assembly (RRP11.6, page 6-125) for the affected feeder.2. Disconnect P/J651 from the Feed Clutch.3. Measure the resistance between the two pins on thefeed clutch.Does the resistance measure 140 to 170 ohms?Replace theFeeder PWB(RRP 11.9,page 6-128).If theproblempersists,replace theSize PWB(RRP 11.19,page 6-139).Replace thePaper FeedClutch(RRP 11.10,page 6-129).4 Press the Enter key.Does the voltage drop from +24.0 VDC to0.0 VDC?Replace thePaper FeedClutch(RRP 11.10,page 6-129).Replace theEngine LogicBoard (RRP9.3 onpage 6-89).5 1. Remove the Sheet Feeder Drive Assembly (RRP11.6, page 6-125) for the affected feeder.2. Check the Paper Feed Rolls for contamination andwear.Are the Paper Feed Rolls clean and in goodcondition?Go to step 6. Replace thePaper FeedRolls(RRP 11.11,page 6-130).6 Check the Paper Feed Assembly for binding,obstructions, or contamination.Is the feed assembly clean and in goodcondition?Go to step 7.
