Phaser 4400 Laser Printer Service Manual 2-9Using the Front Panel with Service DiagnosticsThe keys on the Front Panel provide the user interface for Service Diagnostics. Thekeys and their functions are shown in Front Panel Configuration on page 1-8. Afteryou enter Service Diagnostics, the Up and Down keys allow you to move or scroll thehighlight up and down through a menu. When you have highlighted the item youwant to select, press OK to enter the selection.When you are selecting a page quantity in the Engine Test Print menu use theOK key to move the highlight to the right. then use the Up or Down key to change thevalue of the selected digit. when you have entered the desired quantity, use the Backkey to enter the selection.Note: If you moved past the digit you want to change, keep pressingthe OK key until the highlight wraps to the desired digit.In most of the Service Diagnostics menus, use the Back key to exit a menu to thelevel just above. In most cases, scrolling to the end of a menu and selecting Exit takesyou back to the Service Diagnostics Main Menu.When you select Read Fuser Temperature from the General Statusmenu, the temperature is presented in hex values.
