178 Chapter 9 Printer Setup9.2 Setting up the System ParametersThis procedure sets up all parameters required by the syste m.Setting the Parameters from the Printer Control PanelThe following system parameters can be set up from the printer control panel.The items that can be set up on the printer control panel and on Print Services on Webare different.It is possible to set these system parameters with the use of the copier control panelfor Xerox 6030 WF and Xerox 6050 WF. If the parameters are set with both the printercontrol panel and the copier control panel, the values set most recently will be thevalid parameters.Refer to "8.2 Operation from the Printer Control Panel" for detailed instructions onprinter control panel operations (page 149).Menu Item DescriptionSet Date Sets up the internal clock. The parameters are set in the year,month, day, hour and minutes in this order.Spool in HD Sets up the method in which data is stored on the hard disk.The default setting is [OVERFLOW].[OVERFLOW] Stores intermediate data that exceeds thecapacity of the memory on the hard disk.[ALWAYS] Stores all intermediate data on the harddisk.AUTO ROLL Sets whether the automatic paper switching function fromthe roll to the tray and tray to the roll is to be set to [ON] or[OFF].The default setting is [OFF].SPA PAPER WIDTH Sets the paper width for SP. JIS/ISO A paper. The defaultvalue is [SP A1].[SP. A1] 620 or 525mm[SP. A2] 435 or 440mmSmoothing Sets whether the pseudo 1200 dpi output should be set to[ON] or [OFF]. The default setting is [OFF].
