192 Chapter 10 Basic Printer Machine OperationsChanging Output Roll Media for an Entire JobBy setting the [Size] on [Output Option] to [AUTO] (either [AUTO], [OTHER], [MIX]or [MIX2]), the output paper is determined in accordance with the logical printer's[Media mapping] table. If a paper mapping table is prepared for each job, it is possible tochange the output roll media for each job.For example, if an A1 roll media and an A2 roll media are set in place and the A2 rollmedia is to be used for printing out the A2 size [Job1] job and the A1 roll media to beused for printing out [Job2], which is also in A2 size, the mapping table is set up asfollows. In this example, [Job1] has been specified to use logical printer [PLT01H], which willoutput the job on the A2 roll media.[Job2] has been specified to use logical printer [PLT02H] and rotate the job by 90degrees to print it out on the A1 roll media.Refer to the "Size and Media Mapping" section of "10.5 Logical Printer Settings" fordetails on available functions (page 229).[PLT02H] logical printer settings[PLT01H] logical printer settingsImage Size Media SizeA0 A0A1 A1A2 A1A3 A3A4 A3Image Size Media SizeA0 A0A1 A1A2 A2A3 A3A4 A4Job2Job1 A2A2Logical printer[PLT01H] specifiedLogical printer[PLT02H] specifiedRotated by90 degreesOutput on theA2 roll mediaOutput on theA1 roll media
