Page 54 FTDX9000D OPERATION MANUALBAND S TACK O PERATIONThe FT DX 9000 utilizes a triple band-stack VFO selection technique, that permits you to store up to three favorite frequen-cies and modes onto each band's VFO register. For example, you may store one frequency each on 14 MHz CW, RTTY, andUSB, then recall these VFOs by successive, momentary presses of the [14] MHz band key. Each Amateur band key maysimilarly have up to three frequency/mode settings applied. Both the Main (VFO-A) and Sub (VFO-B) systems have theirown, independent, band stacks.A typical setup, for the 14 MHz band, might be arrangedlike this:1. Program 14.0250 MHz, CW Mode, then press the [14] MHz BANDkey;2. Program 14.080 MHz, RTTYMode, then press the [14] MHzBAND key;3. Program 14.195 MHz, SSB Mode, then press the [14] MHz BANDkey. With this configuration, successive mo-mentary presses of the [14] MHz BAND key will allowyou to toggle sequentially through these three VFOs.Band Stack1frequency (MHz) MODE1.800000 CW3.500000 LSB5.000000 USB7.000000 LSB10.100000 CW14.100000 USB18.068000 USB21.000000 USB24.890000 USB28.000000 USB50.000000 USB15.000000 USBBANDKey1.83.55710141821242850GENBand Stack2frequency (MHz) MODE1.800000 CW3.500000 LSB5.000000 USB7.000000 LSB10.100000 CW14.100000 USB18.068000 USB21.000000 USB24.890000 USB28.000000 USB50.000000 USB15.000000 USBBand Stack3frequency (MHz) MODE1.800000 CW3.500000 LSB5.000000 USB7.000000 LSB10.100000 CW14.100000 USB18.068000 USB21.000000 USB24.890000 USB28.000000 USB50.000000 USB15.000000 USBCONVENIENT F EATURES
