Remove the four screws securing theRear Case of the Front Panel and re-move the Rear Case from the FrontPanel.Note: When you remove the rear case,you will find a small thin green wirenear the flat ribbon cable. Be carefulnot to cut or damage this wire.connectorBU-12. Carefully align the connector on theBU-1 with the connector on the PrintedCircuit Board, and gently press the BU-1 into place.3. Replace the Rear Case to the FrontPanel using the previously removedfour screws.Installing the “BU-1” in the Transceiver Body1. Remove the four screws securing theplastic cover and lift the plastic coverfrom the Transceiver Body.connector2. Carefully align the connector on theBU-1 with the connector on the PrintedCircuit Board, and gently press the BU-1 into place.3. Replace the plastic cover to the Trans-ceiver Body using the previously re-moved four screws.P Be certain the waterproof packingon the back of the plastic cover iscorrectly installed, and the coveradheres and seals properly.P Tighten the four screws evenly tomaintain the waterproof perfor-mance.
