Parameter data248Fieldbus equivalentSerial communication data between fieldbus adapter and drive is transferred ininteger format. Thus the drive actual and reference signal values must be scaled to16/32-bit integer values. Fieldbus equivalent defines the scaling between the signalvalue and the integer used in serial communication. All the read and sent values are limited to 16/32 bits.Example: If 32.04 MAXIMUM TORQ REF is set from external control system,an integer value of 10 corresponds to 1%.Fieldbus addressesFor FPBA-01 Profibus Adapter, FDNA-01 DeviceNet Adapter and FCAN-01CANopen Adapter, see the User’s Manual of the fieldbus adapter module.Pointer parameter format in fieldbus communicationValue and bit pointer parameters are transferred between the fieldbus adapter anddrive as 32-bit integer values.32-bit integer value pointersWhen value pointer parameter is connected to the value of another parameter orsignal, the format is as follows:When value pointer parameter is connected to an application program, the format isas follows:Note: Value pointer parameters which are connected to an application programcannot be set via fieldbus (i.e. read access only).Bit30…31 16…29 8…15 0…7Name Source type Group IndexValue 1 - 1…255 1…255Description Value pointer isconnected toparameter/signal.- Group of sourceparameterIndex of sourceparameterBit30…31 24…29 0…23Name Source type Not in use AddressValue 2 - 0…2 23Description Value pointer isconnected to applicationprogram.- Relative address ofapplication programvariable
