Please note the following about determining whether an eBook can belent:• The shopfront in the Shop on your NOOK has a collection called LendMe eBooks. Select that toview a selection of eBooks that can be lent. (This is not all lendable eBooks.)• For eBooks that you have purchased, when browsing the My B&N Library section of yourlibrary, a LendMe™ badge is present to the right of the eBook title. The badge indicates thatyou can lend the eBook.• LendMe™ badges are present when you are browsing and searching for eBooks in theeBookstore on the BN.com website. When you navigate to the details page for an eBook byclicking on the title, the badge is located below the cover image if that eBook title can be lent.• LendMe™ badges are present in your eBooks library on the BN.com website. If you can lend aneBook, a LendMe™ badge is present below the date added. Click the badge to lend the eBook.Lending an eBookYou lend an eBook to a friend with an email address. You can choose one of the friends (contacts inSettings) you have previously defined, or you can specify a new email address.While a Lending Offer is PendingWhile a lending offer is pending, you do not have access to the eBook. You cannot read the eBook.You cannot make lending offers of the same eBook to other friends.While an eBook is LentWhen a friend accepts a lending offer, the 14-day lending period starts. You do not have access tothe eBook. You cannot read the eBook. You cannot make lending offers to other friends. The bookinformation is grayed out in your library and an indicator is displayed.To lend an eBook:You do not have to download an eBook to your NOOK before you lend it.1 On the Home menu, tap my library.2 If you are viewing My Documents, tap Go to My B&N Library.
