You automatically receive daily editorial contentand notifications.Read The Daily by tapping the daily on the Home menu:the dailyWhen you visit The Daily, your NOOK retrieves up-to-date information from the data service,unless it has already done so within the last 3 hours.Message TypesThe Daily lists four kinds of messages:• Feeds: Also referred to as blogs, these are short pieces of writing.• Notifications: Notifications inform you about events such as special offers and lending offers.• Subscriptions: Subscription messages inform you about the delivery of issues of subscriptions.The number of new issues is displayed in a tip bubble on the Home screen.• Software Updates: Software update messages inform you about device software updates thatrequire Wi-Fi or a web download and USB transfer to your NOOK.Tap Show and then tap the kind of messages you want to display: All (the default), Feeds,Notifications, Subscriptions, or Software Updates.FeedsThe Daily is where you receive issues of Barnes & Noble feeds.
