Your NOOKuses USB 2.0.Connecting your NOOK to your personal computer puts your NOOK in USB drive mode. This letsyou:• Obtain content from the Internet and place it on your NOOK• Put music, screensaver images, and wallpaper images on your NOOK• Back up files• Install large software updatesYou cannot simultaneously manage files and folders through USB and use your NOOK, sowhen your NOOK is in USB drive mode, it is locked. If you are listening to the audio player,that stops too.Connecting your NOOK to your ComputerConnect your NOOK to your personal computer with the provided USB cable, as shown.USBCableComputer / USBWhen you connect your NOOK to a personal computer using USB, it enters USB drive mode andcharges.
