QUICK START30 CyberSWITCH2. Disable TFTP Server.Disable through Dynamic Management’s manage mode. This will secure important deviceinformation. Device information must be secure to prevent unauthorized access to theCyberSWITCH. To disable this access, enter the following command at the manage modeprompt:tftp changeThen follow the on-screen instructions to disable the TFTP feature.3. Change the admin and guest system passwords.If your system was previously accessed by your distributor, the preconfigured password willbe admin (in lower case). Change this password to secure your system. To make this change,enter the following command at the system prompt:pswdThen follow the prompts to enter a new password. Your password must be a 3 to 16 nonblankcharacter string. Be careful, passwords are uppercase and lowercase sensitive.R ETURN CONFIGURATION TO FACTORY D EFAULTSThe default configuration files are located on the CSX150 Documentation and Set-Up Utility CD. Ifyou wish to return to the default configuration, download the DEFLTCFG.OSW file. Follow thesame steps for Local or Remote Upgrade except you download the file DEFLTCFG.OSW instead ofthe UPGRADE.OSW file.INITIAL I NSTALLATION STEPSThere are initial configuration steps you must complete (regardless of remote device connections).We outline these steps in the following sections.BEGINNING THE CONFIGURATION P ROCESS1. When you power on your system, the CyberSWITCH program automatically starts. Enter yourlog-in id (admin). Next, enter a password.2. Start up the configuration editor, CFGEDIT; at the system prompt, type:cfgeditNote: If you are unsure of any configuration values, use the defaults.Use the displayed CFGEDIT menu to complete the remaining configuration steps.
