Using CyberMONITORCyberMONITOR User’s Guide3-19Bridging Statistical DataThe Bridging Data Table shows the state of the Bridging interface. The text in the outer borderindicates the status of Spanning Tree (STP).The Time frame shows the state of the following Spanning Tree parameters:Hello Time - Time interval between generation of Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) by theroot bridge (bridge with the lowest bridge ID becomes the root of the Spanning Tree).Max Age - Length of time a bridge will wait to receive a BPDU. Once this timer expires, aTopology Change Notification BPDU will be transmitted.Forward Delay - Length of time the bridge will remain in each port state.Hold Time - The interval length during which no more than two Configuration BPDUs shallbe transmitted by this node, in units of hundredths of a second. The Topology frame shows the number of times the topology has changed, and the time since thelast change. The Port Information frame shows:Port Number - logical port number.Priority - value of the priority field.State - Reports the following states: Disabled, Blocking, Listening, Learning, Forwarding, andBroken.Enabled - Port status, either Yes (Enabled), or No (Disabled).Path Cost - Each bridge has a path cost associated with it representative of its “cost” to reachthe root bridge. The File menu item lets you access either Print, (prints the table to your selected printer),Refresh, that reloads the Bridging Table, or Close which closes the table window.
