If you cannot shift out of P (Park), ease pressure onthe shift lever and push the shift lever all the way intoP (Park) as you maintain brake application. Then pressthe shift lever button and move the shift lever into anothergear. Unless yourfoot is firmly on the brake pedal, the vehicle couldmove very rapidly. You could lose control and hitpeople or objects.
