Highbeam On LightThis light comes on whenthe high-beam headlampsare in use.See Headlamp High/Low-Beam Changer on page 3-8for more information.Fuel GageThe fuel gage showsapproximately how muchfuel is in the fuel tank.It works only whenthe ignition is in theON/RUN position.An arrow on the fuel gage indicates the side of thevehicle the fuel door is on.If the fuel supply gets low, the Fuel Level Low messagewill appear on the Driver Information Center (DIC)and a single chime will sound. See DIC Warningsand Messages on page 3-57 for more information.Here are a few concerns some owners have had aboutthe fuel gage. All of these situations are normal anddo not indicate that anything is wrong with the fuel gage:• At the gas station the gas pump shuts off beforethe gage reads full.• The gage may change when you turn, stop quicklyor accelerate quickly.• It takes a little more or less fuel to fill the tank thanthe gage indicated. For example, the gage mayhave indicated that the tank was half full, butit actually took a little more or less than half thetank’s capacity to fill the tank.3-48
