If the airdelivery mode or fan setting ismanually adjusted, the autoindicator turns off and the displaywill show the selected settings. Autooperation can be turned offindividually for climate settings.For automatic operation:1. Press AUTO.2. Set the temperature. Allow thesystem time to stabilize. Thenadjust the temperature asneeded for best comfort.To improve fuel efficiency and tocool the vehicle faster, recirculationmay be automatically selected inwarm weather. The recirculationlight will not come on. Press ^to select recirculation; press it againto select outside air.OFF (Fan): Press to turn the fan onor off. The temperature control andair delivery mode can still beadjusted.w / x (Driver and PassengerTemperature Controls): Thetemperature can be adjustedseparately for the driver and thepassenger. Press to increase ordecrease the temperature. Pressand hold to rapidly increase ordecrease the temperature.The driver and passengertemperatures can also be adjustedby pressing the controls on thetouch screen.SYNC (SynchronizedTemperature): Press SYNC on thetouch screen to link all climate zonesettings to the driver settings. Adjustthe driver side temperature controlto change the linked temperature.When the passenger settings areadjusted, the SYNC button isdisplayed when the temperaturesare unlinked.Manual Operationz 9 or 9 y (Fan Control):Press the fan control buttons or thetouch screen fan control, to increaseor decrease the fan speed. Pressand hold the buttons or the touchscreen control to adjust speed morequickly. The fan speed settingdisplays. Pressing either buttoncancels automatic fan control andthe fan can be controlled manually.Press AUTO to return to automaticoperation. To turn off the fan andclimate control system, press andhold the fan down button or touchscreen fan control until it is off.Air Delivery Mode Control: Whenthe climate information is displayed,press the desired air delivery modeon the touch screen to change thedirection of the airflow. The selectedair delivery mode button is lit.Pressing any of the air deliverybuttons cancels automatic airdelivery control and the direction ofthe airflow can be controlledmanually. Press AUTO to return toautomatic operation.
