Press the button on the side ofthe transmitter near the bottomand pull the key out.2. Separate the two halves of thetransmitter using a flat toolinserted into the bottom centerof the transmitter. Do not use thekey slot.3. Remove the old battery. Do notuse a metal object.4. Insert the new battery on theback housing, positive sidefacing down. Replace with aCR2032 or equivalent battery.5. Align the front and back housingthen snap the transmittertogether.Remote Vehicle StartIf available, this feature allows theengine to be started from outside ofthe vehicle./ (Remote Vehicle Start): Thisbutton will be on the RKEtransmitter if the vehicle has remotestart.The climate control system will usethe previous settings during aremote start.
