It may show the GrossVehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)and the Gross Axle WeightRating (GAWR) for the front andrear axle. Locate the statement “Thecombined weight ofoccupants and cargo shouldnever exceed XXX kg orXXX lbs.” on your vehicle'splacard.2. Determine the combinedweight of the driver andpassengers that will beriding in your vehicle.3. Subtract the combinedweight of the driver andpassengers from XXX kg orXXX lbs.4. The resulting figure equalsthe available amount ofcargo and luggage loadcapacity. For example, if the“XXX” amount equals1400 lbs. and there will befive 150 lb passengers inyour vehicle, the amount ofavailable cargo and luggageload capacity is 650 lbs.(1400-750 (5 x 150) =650 lbs.)
