Always connectand remove the jump leads in thecorrect order, making sure thatthe cables do not touch eachother or other metal.Jump Lead RemovalReverse the sequence exactly whenremoving the jump leads.After starting the disabled vehicleand removing the jump leads, allowit to idle for several minutes.Towing the VehicleCautionIncorrectly towing a disabledvehicle may cause damage. Thedamage would not be covered bythe vehicle warranty.Do not lash or hook tosuspension components. Use theproper straps around the tyres tosecure the vehicle.Have the vehicle towed on a flatbedcar carrier. A wheel lift tow truckcould damage the vehicle.Due to low ramp angles on theV-Series only, use care whenloading the vehicle onto a flatbedcarrier. Front spring spacers wereprovided for lifting the frontsuspension if more clearance isnecessary when towing.Consult your dealer or aprofessional towing service if thedisabled vehicle must be towed.Use the tow eye for towing adisabled vehicle or loading it onto aflatbed car carrier. The tow eyeshould not be used to recover avehicle from an off road situation.
