When this happens the vehicleahead indicator will not appear.ACC may detect a vehicle that is notin your lane and apply the brakes.ACC may occasionally provide an alertand/or braking that is consideredunnecessary. It could respond tovehicles in different lanes, signs,guardrails, and other stationaryobjects when entering or exiting acurve. This is normal operation. Thevehicle does not need service.Other Vehicle Lane ChangesACC will not detect a vehicle aheaduntil it is completely in the lane. Thebrake may need to be manuallyapplied.Do Not Use ACC on Hills and WhenTowing a TrailerDo not use ACC when driving on steephills or when towing a trailer. ACC willnot detect a vehicle in the lane whiledriving on steep hills. The driver willoften need to take over accelerationand braking on steep hills, especiallywhen towing a trailer.
