Do not allowcontaminants to contact the fluids,reservoir caps, or dipsticks.HoodTo open the hood:1. Pull the hood release lever withthis symbol on it. It is on thelower left side of the instrumentpanel.2. Go to the front of the vehicle tofind the secondary hood releasehandle. The handle is under thefront edge of the hood near thecenter. Push the handle to theright and at the same time raisethe hood.To close the hood:Before closing the hood, be sure allfiller caps are on properly. Then, bringthe hood from full open to within152 mm (6 in) of the closed position.Pause, then push the front center ofthe hood with a swift, firm motion tofully close the hood.
