The fixing film sensor (P26) is faulty.If a code from E000 through E003 is indicated, the indication will not bereset even when the main power switch is turned off and then on, requiringclearing of the error in service mode(COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR).If E001 or E003 is detected within 3sec after the front cover switch is iden-tified as being open/closed, however, the error indication will be reset whenthe main power switch is turned off and then on. This is to prevent the userfrom placing a service call in response to an error detected while the switchoperation is not stable (as occurring immediately after the switch is turnedon/off).
