This procedure is described in “Dis-abling a Forgotten Password” in Appendix C of theInstallation and Troubleshooting Guide.Password OptionsTable 4-2 lists several ways the Supervisor Password Is,User Password Is, and Password on Boot categories canbe used to provide security for your system.Responding to Error MessagesIf an error message appears on your monitor screen whilethe system is booting, make a note of the message. Then,before entering the System Setup program, refer toChapter 3, “Messages and Codes,” in your Installationand Troubleshooting Guide for an explanation of themessage and suggestions for correcting any errors. (How-ever, it is normal to receive an error message the firsttime you boot your system after a memory upgrade isinstalled.
