System Configuration | 101Importing a Configuration FileYou may import the configuration settings that you previously exported to a backupconfiguration file. To import a configuration file, perform the following steps:Step 1 Navigate to the System > Settings page.Step 2 To import a backup version of the configuration, click Import Settings. The Import Settingsdialog box is displayed.Step 3 Click Browse to navigate to a location that contains the file (that includes settings) you want toimport. The file can be any name, but is named sslvpnSettings-serialnumber.zip by default.Step 4 Click Upload. SonicOS SRA imports the settings from the file and configures the appliance withthose settings.Note Make sure you are ready to reconfigure your system. Once you import the file, thesystem overwrites the existing settings immediately.Step 5 Once the file has been imported, restart the appliance to make the changes permanent.Encrypting the Configuration FileFor security purposes, you can encrypt the configuration files in the System > Settings page.However, if the configuration files are encrypted, they cannot be edited or reviewed fortroubleshooting purposes.To encrypt the configuration files, select the Encrypt settings file check box in the System >Settings page.Managing FirmwareThe Firmware Management section of System > Settings provides the administrator with theoption to be notified when new firmware becomes available. It provides the configurationoptions for firmware images, including uploading new firmware and creating a backup.These tasks are described in the following sections:• “Setting Firmware Notification” section on page 101• “Creating a Backup” section on page 102• “Downloading Firmware” section on page 102• “Booting a Firmware Image” section on page 102• “Uploading New Firmware” section on page 102Setting Firmware NotificationThe administrator can be notified by email when a new firmware build is available.To be notified when new firmware is available, select the Notify me when new firmware isavailable check box.
