5-26 D30 Line Distance Relay GE Multilin5.2 PRODUCT SETUP 5 SETTINGS5j) IEC 60870-5-104 PROTOCOLPATH: SETTINGS Ö PRODUCT SETUP ÖØ COMMUNICATIONS ÖØ IEC 60870-5-104 PROTOCOLThe D30 supports the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. The D30 can be used as an IEC 60870-5-104 slave device connected toa maximum of two masters (usually either an RTU or a SCADA master station). Since the D30 maintains two sets of IEC60870-5-104 data change buffers, no more than two masters should actively communicate with the D30 at one time. The IEC ------- DEFAULT THRESHOLD settings are used to determine when to trigger spontaneous responses containingM_ME_NC_1 analog data. These settings group the D30 analog data into types: current, voltage, power, energy, and other. Each setting represents the default threshold value for all M_ME_NC_1 analog points of that type. For example, to triggerspontaneous responses from the D30 when any current values change by 15 A, the IEC CURRENT DEFAULT THRESHOLD set-ting should be set to 15. Note that these settings are the default values of the deadbands. P_ME_NC_1 (parameter of mea-sured value, short floating point value) points can be used to change threshold values, from the default, for each individualM_ME_NC_1 analog point. Whenever power is removed and re-applied to the D30, the default thresholds will be in effect. The D30 relay does not support energy metering. As such, the IEC ENERGY DEFAULT THRESHOLD setting is not appli-cable.The IEC 60870-5-104 and DNP protocols cannot be simultaneously. When the IEC 60870-5-104 FUNCTION set-ting is set to “Enabled”, the DNP protocol will not be operational. When this setting is changed it will notbecome active until power to the relay has been cycled (off-to-on).k) SNTP PROTOCOLPATH: SETTINGS Ö PRODUCT SETUP ÖØ COMMUNICATIONS ÖØ SNTP PROTOCOL IEC 60870-5-104 PROTOCOLIEC 60870-5-104FUNCTION: DisabledRange: Enabled, DisabledMESSAGE IEC TCP PORTNUMBER: 2404Range: 1 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC NETWORK CLIENT ADDRESSESMESSAGE IEC COMMON ADDRESSOF ASDU: 0Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC CYCLIC DATAPERIOD: 60 sRange: 1 to 65535 s in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC CURRENT DEFAULTTHRESHOLD: 30000Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC VOLTAGE DEFAULTTHRESHOLD: 30000Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC POWER DEFAULTTHRESHOLD: 30000Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC ENERGY DEFAULTTHRESHOLD: 30000Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1MESSAGE IEC OTHER DEFAULTTHRESHOLD: 30000Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1 SNTP PROTOCOLSNTP FUNCTION:DisabledRange: Enabled, DisabledMESSAGE SNTP SERVER IP ADDR:0.0.0.0Range: Standard IP address formatMESSAGE SNTP UDP PORTNUMBER: 123Range: 0 to 65535 in steps of 1NOTENOTE
