The faceplateRS232 port is intended for local use and is fixed at 19200 bit/s baud and even parity. The rear COM2 port is RS485 and hassettings for baud rate and parity. It is important that these parameters agree with the settings used on the computer or otherequipment that is connected to these ports. Any of these ports can be connected to a computer running EnerVista URSetup. This software can download and upload setting files, view measured parameters, and upgrade the relay firmware. Amaximum of 32 relays can be daisy-chained and connected to a DCS, PLC, or computer using the RS485 ports.
