After cleaning, rinse the shelveswith clean water and dry with a clean cloth.If the shelves ever become hard to slide,wipe the shelf edges or oven shelf supportswith vegetable oil.If your oven is equipped with gray porcelain-coated shelves, they may be cleaned in theoven during the self-clean cycle.They may also be cleaned by using anabrasive cleanser. After cleaning, rinse theshelves with clean water and dry with aclean cloth. If the shelves ever become hardto slide, wipe the shelf edges or oven shelfsupports with vegetable oil.Oven Light ReplacementCAUTION: Before replacing your oven light bulb,disconnect the electrical power to the range at themain fuse or circuit breaker panel. Be sure to let thelight cover and bulb cool completely.The oven light bulb is covered with aremovable glass cover that is held in placewith a bail-shaped wire. Remove the ovendoor, if desired, to reach cover easily.To remove:Hold a hand under the cover so itdoesn’t fall when released. Withfingers of the same hand, firmly pushback the wire cover holder. Lift offthe cover.Do not remove any screws to removethe cover.Do not touch hot bulb with a wetcloth. Replace bulb with a 40-watthousehold appliance bulb.To replace cover:Place it into the groove of the lightreceptacle. Pull the wire forward to thecenter of the cover until it snaps intoplace. When in place, the wire holdsthe cover firmly. Be certain the wireis in the depression in the center ofthe cover.Connect electrical power to the range.Wire cover holder.Removable Storage Drawer (on some models)The storage drawer is a good place to storecookware and bakeware. Do not store plasticsand flammable material in the drawer.The storage drawer may be removedfor cleaning under the range. Clean thestorage drawer with a damp cloth orsponge. Never use harsh abrasives orscouring pads.To remove storage drawer:Pull drawer straight out until it stops.Tilt the front of the drawer up andfree of the range.To replace storage drawer:Set the stops on the back of the drawerover the stops in the range.Slide drawer evenly and straight back,so that the rails in the range areengaged.The storage drawer may be removedfor cleaning under the range.
