Programmable Logic P44x/EN PL/Hb6MiCOM 40 Agile P442, P444 (PL) 6-9Ordinal English Text Description Source229 A/R Reclaim Internal autoreclose reclaim in progress (reclaim timetimeout in progress). If it is assigned to an opto input in the PSL and whenenergised, the DDB:‘A/R Reclaim’ signal will start theinternal logic TOR enable (External AR logic applied). The DDB indicates the reclaim time following a particularautoreclose shot is timing out. The DDB:'AR Reclaim'output would be energised at the same instant as anyCycle outputs are reset. ‘A/R Reclaim’ may be used toblock low-set instantaneous protection on autoreclosure, when it has not been time-graded with a downstreamprotection. This technique is commonly used when thedownstream devices are fuses, and fuse saving isimplemented. This avoids fuse blowing for transientfaults.‘A/R reclaim’ can be connected to Main2 for cycle inprogress external information. It initiates the internalTOR logicPSL (OUT)Autorecloser230 AR Discrim. 'Discrimination time' window in progress (starts with thetrip command). When a single pole trip is issued by the relay, a 1-poleAR cycle is initiated. The 'Dead time 1' and'Discrimination time' are started. If the autoreclose logicdetects a single pole or three-pole trip (internal orexternal) during the discrimination time-delay, the singlepole high speed autoreclose cycle is disabled andreplaced by a three pole high speed autoreclose cycle, ifenabled. If no three-pole autoreclose is enabled, therelay trips 3-pole and the autoreclose is blocked. If the autoreclose logic detects a 3-pole trip (internal orexternal) when the Discrimination time-delay haselapsed and during the 1-pole dead time; the single poleAR cycle is stopped and the relay trips 3-pole and blocksthe autoreclose.PSL (OUT)Autorecloser231 A/R Enable Indicates the autoreclose function is in service1 = [If 'A/R SPAR Enable' OR 'A/R TPAR Enable'] AND''Internal A/R' = enabled (setting)Reset to 0: If 'A/R SPAR Enable'=0 AND 'A/R TPAREnable'=0 (if assigned in PSL) + ''Internal A/R' =disabled (setting)PSL (OUT)Autorecloser232 A/R SPAR Enable Single pole autorecloser (SPAR) activated: If it isassigned to an opto input in the PSL (by default PSL isinverted and linked to opto 8) and energized, TheDDB:'A/R SPAR Enable' will enable the 1-poleautoreclose logic (the priority of this input is higher thanthe 'CB Control/A/R single pole' setting) - this means the1-pole autoreclose logic can be disabled even if it hasbeen activated; if the relevant opto input is not energized(to be valid, the opto must be energised for over1.2s).NOTE: After a new PSL has been downloaded to therelay (including the "TPAR" or "SPAR" cells); thesettings configuration must be uploaded back (from PCto relay) to update the data in the RAM and theEEPROM (otherwise discrepancies could appear in the“A/R enable” logic state).Set to 1: 1P AR activated (copy of 'SPAR Enable' optoinput OR 'CB Control/ A/R Single pole' enabled)Reset to 0: if 'SPAR Enable' = 0 OR (A/R Single pole'disabled)PSL (OUT)Autorecloser
